I was in the market to purchase 2 new Hyundai Elantras for my twins for graduation. I visited Hyundai of College Park Where Steven Johnson (Sales Associate Extraordinaire) fought to get me the best deal after I went to almost 10 other dealerships. If he’s working as hard for all of his customers as he did for me and my family, then he’s definitely an assets to this dealership. He was so courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They have earned a customer as long as he can be my sales associate. My experience at Hyundai college Park was fabulous!! I called in late to see if I can get my car serviced and spoke to Mr Adams. Me. Robert Adams He said if I could be there before 12:00 noon I was there by 11:10 had to wait a few minutes but it all worked out. I was able to get my car serviced in a matter of hours. I am forever grateful to Mr Adams for taking care of me and to Omar who took care of my car. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for getting me back on the road and for a great experience at College Park Hyundai. You both deserve a big thumbs up.

Great experience! I arrived and immediately received service from Service Advisor Robert Adams. Robert was personable, he helped me understand the services being performed and provided full cost estimates for the work. I was pleased with the "bottomline" when the work was completed and with Robert's advice on which applicable and available discounts I had received from the dealership (emails) would be best. Robert was very professional and thorough, including confirming and showing me the status of the maintenance agreement I'd purchased. Since I was going to wait at the dealership, I was anxious to know how long it would take. Robert gave me a good estimate and explained what could impact that timeline. His estimate was spot on! I'm confident the work performed will render my vehicle (including brake pads and rotors)safe and roadworthy for some time. By the way, I've purchased 3 vehicles from College Park Hyundai since 2017 and have had them all serviced at the dealership. Each year I've noticed increasing excellence in customer service. I am writing this review to protect other customers from what I experienced at Hyundai College Park Service Center. What happened to me was not a simple case of poor customer service — it was dangerous, dishonest, and deeply unprofessional from the service floor all the way up to general manager Joseph. My transmission failed on the highway in 2025 with no warning and was repaired under warranty at this location. In January 2026 the exact same transmission failed again on the highway — complete shutdown at highway speed with zero warning. I had my car towed back to Hyundai College Park where they confirmed the failure, accepted the vehicle for repair, and provided me with a rental car. What followed was four months of complete silence. My car sat at this dealership from January 2026 through May 2026 and I received not a single proactive update. I reached out multiple times and was largely ignored. When I finally received a response in April 2026 I was told they were working on getting Hyundai corporate to authorize the warranty repair. I was patient. I waited. On May 21, 2026 my service advisor called to tell me my car was ready. He explicitly told me the transmission had been fully repaired and that Hyundai corporate had covered the entire cost under warranty. I was relieved after four months of waiting and went to pick up my car the following day. On May 22, 2026 I paid $1,300 for exhaust services and drove off the lot. Within 15 minutes my transmission failed for the third time. My car shut down completely while I was executing a turn in an active turning lane in live traffic. I had just enough time to notice the car jerking, call the dealership to warn them, and then my car died in the middle of the road leaving me stranded and in danger. When I called the dealership after this third breakdown, general manager Joseph admitted in a recorded phone conversation that the transmission had never been repaired at any point during the four months my car was in their possession. He told me the car was released not because the repairs were complete but because the dealership wanted their rental car back. He made a deliberate decision to release my vehicle knowing the transmission was unrepaired and unsafe and said nothing to me about it. The unprofessionalism did not stop there. When my family contacted Joseph demanding answers and an explanation for why I was allowed to drive off in an unsafe vehicle, he was shockingly rude, smug, and completely dismissive. He showed absolutely no remorse for the fact that his decision endangered my life. He did not apologize once. Instead he told us not to put any more money into the car and refused to reimburse my $178 rental car expense — a cost I was forced to incur solely because of his team's negligence. When I called again on May 26, 2026, Joseph maintained the same arrogant and unapologetic attitude, claiming the transmission was no longer under warranty despite the fact that my 2020 Elantra has only 95,000 miles and is still within Hyundai's 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. To summarize what this dealership and Joseph did: they held my car for four months without repairing it, called me to say it was fixed when it was not, sent me off in a vehicle they knew was dangerous, my transmission failed within 15 minutes putting my life at risk for the third time, and when confronted Joseph was rude, dismissive, unapologetic, and showed zero accountability or basic human decency toward me or my family. If you are considering bringing your vehicle to Hyundai College Park Service Center, please take this review seriously.

This was my first visit to service my 2025 Hyundai Tuscan since purchasing it in December of 2025, and I was truly impressed by the level of care and attention I received. Upon pulling into the service lane, I was greeted by an employee named Robert who promptly introduced himself and guided me inside to discuss my service needs. I was immediately struck by Robert's professionalism and informative nature, as he took the time to register me, review my maintenance plan, and explain the services included. His proactive approach in providing assistance before I even had to ask mirrored the customer service principles I myself instill in my team as a manager. Despite a busy service schedule, Robert ensured that I was taken care of and informed me of a 2 to 3-hour wait. He also kindly directed me to a designated area where I could work remotely while waiting. Shortly after settling in, I received a text message from Robert offering assistance and reassurance throughout my service appointment. This level of personalized care and communication truly set my service experience apart. I wanted to commend Robert for going above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service. While I cannot speak for others, I can say that his attentiveness and professionalism made a lasting impression on me. I believe that this kind of service excellence reflects positively on your Hyundai Service Center and encourages customer loyalty.
